A 54kg blue marlin landed by a 13 years old boy on his first challenge!

It has been 10 days since our last trolling trip....
A boy from Singapore tried for his first trolling trip. A giant marlin struck on the tiny lure set for wahoo early in the morning and took line out of the spool for 350m. The marlin presented a dynamic jump far from our boat and got off the hook. Sorry... The hook was way too small, no more small lure. We had a multiple marlin attacks on the lure later, but didn't strike. 2 hours later, another marlin hit and it took 35 minutes to land a 54kg (119lb).
Marlin, 2 whaoo on trolling and tuna, skipjack on light tackle. What a wonderful day 1, and the fishing trip continues to Day 2.
